Press Release – Targeted Translations Keep Regional Business Valuers Connected to Professional Global Standards

Toronto, Canada November 30, 2016 – To meet the evolving needs of valuers in China and the Middle East, iiBV has worked with our member organizations China Appraisal Society (CAS) and Taqeem to translate key pages of the iiBV website. We believe this will help valuers in those regions, and our member organizations, stay abreast of the changing regulatory issues and education requirements in the valuation profession.

Taqeem and CAS focused on the About and Calendar of Events pages for the initial translations and, if appropriate, for iiBV students and interested participant’s may translate additional information.

In discussing the project, Ray Moran, Chair of the iiBV Marketing Committee, commented “Our students and members asked for this in their native languages, and as a global organization we’re thrilled to provide this information. We plan to continue to develop the iiBV website and social media programs to meet our students needs and requests.”

The iiBV, together with its member associations, leads the business valuation profession globally by providing educational opportunities, promoting consistent professional ethics and standards, facilitating the exchange of information and ideas, and encouraging international co-operation and communication.
