The HKICPA Launches iiBV212 “Valuing Intangible Assets” Course

Toronto, CANADA – The iiBV is excited to announce that the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) has added the International Institute of Business Valuers (iiBV) “Valuing Intangible Assets” e-Learning course to their continuing professional development webpage, making it available to HKICPA members who wish to develop their business valuation skills.

iiBV’s “Valuing Intangible Assets” identifies the major categories of intangible assets, the specific types within each category, and introduces the common models used to value the different types of intangible assets.  This course is one of a series of five new online advanced business valuation (BV) courses available through the iiBV’s Online Education Platform. These courses are designed for professional business valuers seeking to enhance their technical knowledge and deliver high quality services to their clients by continually developing their skills and expertise.

Ray Moran, Chair of the iiBV’s Marketing Committee, advises “Hong Kong has several initiatives in progress to improve the local business valuation profession, as described in the recent Proposed Standards and Professionalism Framework, by the International Valuation Standards Council (IVSC).
