The International Institute of Business Valuers Welcomes the
National Association of Valuers of Serbia

Toronto, CANADA – The International Institute of Business Valuers (iiBV) is pleased to announce the National Association of Valuers of Serbia (NAVS) as its newest member Valuation Professional Organization (VPO).  NAVS is the fifth member to join the iiBV, along with the American Society of Appraisers (ASA)The Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV)China Appraisal Society (CAS) and The Saudi Authority for Accredited Valuers (Taqeem).

NAVS is a not-for-profit independent association of valuers of various appraisal disciplines in Serbia, founded in 2006, to act towards the public interest and to promote the significance of the profession, methods and techniques of valuation.  NAVS has 150 members, of which 25 are business valuers. A priority for NAVS is the implementation of internationally recognized valuation standards.

“We are pleased to welcome NAVS to membership in iiBV and look forward to collaborating with them.” says Bob Morrison, ASA, Chair of iiBV. He continues, “The iiBV is on a strategic mission to attract valuation organizations to become members in iiBV to promote the development of best-in-class business valuation education.”

“The NAVS members are looking forward to the opportunities that will arise from the membership in iiBV” added Danijela Ilic, FRICS, REV, President of NAVS.  Vesna Stefanovic, leader of the BV section of NAVS said, “The BV members of NAVS look forward to working on education opportunities with iiBV.”

The iiBV, together with its member VPOs, leads the business valuation profession globally by providing educational opportunities, promoting consistent professional ethics and standards, facilitating the exchange of information and ideas, and encouraging international co-operation and communication.
